Sumaya Sterling O’Grady is a lifelong student and teacher of spiritual and healing traditions, as well as an inveterate world traveler. In addition to her new book, she has also contributed chapters to two previous anthologies, Becoming Outrageously Successful, and Coming Out of Hiding.
Sumaya has also presented numerous inspirational talks and meditations at groups and conferences in the San Francisco Bay Area and in Sedona, Arizona.
She holds a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology and has worked for years with troubled youths and families, as well as developmentally disabled adults. She has also worked in sales, technical publications, financial services, and higher education. Sumaya admits to being a lifelong addict of sci -fi and fantasy books. However, she frequently enjoys spine-chilling murder mysteries and studies ancient civilizations, spiritual healing methods, and quantum physics.
Sumaya currently lives in her beloved Sedona, Arizona, surrounded by the gorgeous red rock vortexes and a community of true soulmate friends.
